History
The history of
the Allegan County
Medical Care
Community started
in 1866 as the
county poor farm
to provide for
the disabled
and the infirm.
In 1970, the
current facility
was constructed
as the Allegan
County Medical
Care Facility.
Today, the Allegan
County Medical
Care Community
continues to
provide a loving
home to many
area residents
and is Allegan’s
first choice
for senior medical
care and rehabilitation.
As ACMCC continues
to enhance and expand
its facility, one
common thread, established
by its founding members,
remains consistent:
ACMCC’s principles
of love, care and
dignity are as strong
today as ever.
